" He gives strength to those who are tired and more power to those who are weak."  Isaiah 40:29

You know about God's amazing power. The Bible is filled with stories about the miracles He did and the people He helped. You probably want to know what that means to you. How do you experience God's power? When you have a problem, ask God to help you with it. Notice the little things that happen; an encouraging word from a friend; something that is difficult gets easier. You will see that God's strength and power is growing you.

" Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."  Joshua 1:9

Don't be afraid. Everyone is scared sometimes. Different things scare different poeple. But if someone says they aren't afraid, they are lying. You don't have to face things that scare you alone. God's got you covered. If God is with you and all around you, then what is there to be afraid of ? You will be afaid sometimes that's Ok. When you feel the fear start rolling inside you, keep praying and reminding youself that God is with you.

" So put all evil things out of your life: sexual sinning, doing evil, letting evil thoughts control you, wanting things that are evil, and greed. This is really serving a false god. " Colossians 3:5


Do you have secrets? Are some of them things that you really don't want anyone to know because you aren't sure what others will think.You can hide things from others but you can't hide them from God. The things you see on the computer -- He sees. The TV shows you watch -- He knows about. Are you embarrassed to know what He knows about you? Don't get caught up the worldly junk and think it's more important the God. Nothing is more important than serving and honoring God. It's worth it.

" I can do all things through Christ, because He gives me strength." Philippians 4:13

Do you have a dream? Your dream may be something so incredible that you don't want to share it because you are afraid what other people will think of it. Whatever your dream is, Christ will give you strength to work toward it. When you have Christ in your life the possibilities are endless. God will help you accomplish anything that He wants you to accomplish. Never give up and never stop trusting Him.

Obeying Him

" If you obey every law except one, you are still guilty of breaking them all. " James 2:10

When it comes to obeying God, you may feel like you're doing pretty well. You can usually find someone who is a lot worse than you. Well, here's the thing -- even if you break ONE of God's laws , in God's eyes, you might as well have boken all of them. Why does the Bible say that? God wants complete obedience from His children. He doesn't put up with disobedience. He doesn't play the comparison game. You stand alone based on your own obedience. Is this news to you? Did you think you were doing OK by just obeying the easy stuff? It's good to obey as much as you can, but do not ever be satisfied with just being pretty good. Keep learning and growing and obeying more and more.

Showing Courage

" The eternal God is our refuge, and His everlasting arms are under you. "  Deuteronomy 33:27

This verse doesn't mean you won't have problems --- you will. It doesn't mean you won't hurt sometimes --- you will.  But it does mean that God is always with you and He won't let you have problems or pain so terrible that you can't recover. His arms will catch you.

Using His Gifts

" God can bless you with everything you need, and you will always have more than enough to do all kinds of good things for others. God freely gives His gifts to the poor, and always does right. " 2 Corinthians 9:8-9


The reality is that no person is alone in this world and no one should feel as though they are. God instructs His children to help one another and look out for one another. So, whatever you have  - however much you have - find someone to share it with.

Enduring

" I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to lies ahead, I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us. " Philippians 3:13-14


If you quit trying just because things are hard, you will never grow stronger as a Christian. There is also the danger of developing the habit of not finishing things you started. That's not good, God wants to help you learn and grow. He will give you endurance to get through the tough things. Just ask Him.

Praying

" Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. " Colossians 4:2

Don't make your prayer life a long list of " do this and do that " for God , and don't pray in a half - hearted way. Devote yourselves to prayer. Believe that God will answer. Constant prayer will help you get to know God better and you will be able to see Him working in your life.

Witnessing His Power

" There are thinds about Him that people cannot see --  His eternal power and all things that make Him God. But since the beginning of the world those things have been easy to understand by what God has made. So people have no excuse for the bad things they do. " Romans  1:20


Understanding God's power is very important because it gives you something to hold on to when the world goes crazy. There is so much going on in the world, like wars , murders ,and ect.....  The world can be scary  place so you need to know that God's power is greater than anything else. His power is there for you. He loves you!

His Forgiveness

" Even if that person wrongs you seven times a day and each time turns again and ask forgiveness, you must forgive." -- Luke 17:4


We all mess up sometimes but God decided a long time ago to forgive you! God is forgiving because He loves you. When you ask for His forgiveness, He will give it everytime. He wants us to pass that same forgiving spirit to others and forgive them. No matter what you do God always forgives you.

Being Thankful

" It is good to give thanks to the Lord, to sing praises to the Most High. It is good to proclaim Your unfailing love in the morning , Your faithfulness in the evening." Psalm 92: 1-2

When you get up out of bed do you thank God for what he has done for you?? Take time out of your day and thank God for all he has done for you. The thankfulness will grow and grow as you understand how much and how often He shows His love to you.

His Faithfulness

" I have told you this, so that you might have peace in your hearts because of Me. While you are in the world, you will have to suffer. But cheer up! I have defeated the world." John  16:33
